GEOL 101L
Pre- or co-requisite: GEOL 101, GEOL 110T or GEOL 140.
Required text: Physical Geology Laboratory Manual by Jeffrey Knott, Wayne Henderson, and Patricia Butcher (most recent edition!)
This lab course covers topics that include the identification of rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, geologic hazards, interpreting topographic maps, and geologic history.
There is one required field trip, which you will complete on your own time prior to the second exam.
